Free QR code table stand for 3D printing

A QR code table stand is a small angled block that holds your code at reading angle on a table or counter. Enter a link (menu, reviews, Wi-Fi), choose a stand, and download the 3MF or STL. The code is raised in a second color and never expires.

You can also turn it into a printable 3D object: a table stand, a keychain, or a wall plaque.

Preparing your design…

3MF keeps the two colors per part. Assign the filaments in your slicer; automatic assignment depends on the program. STL does not keep colors.

Customize the design

Screen colors are approximate; assign real filaments in the slicer.

Your links, images, and data (Wi-Fi, contacts, messages, events) are processed in this browser and never sent to a server. The files you download do contain the information you encode, including Wi-Fi passwords.

How to make a QR table stand

Think about what guests should scan first.

1

Enter what guests need

A menu link, review page, or Wi-Fi details. Remember the 3D limit of 220 bytes; a short address is easier to read.

2

Choose the stand

Wedge 55°, low 40°, or arch 55°. Pick two colors and a width between 40 and 140 mm. Add a caption such as “See the menu.”

3

Download and print

Get the 3MF or STL. The stand is solid with an angled face, so print it with a multi-material setup.

Choosing the right stand

Wedge 55°

The standard choice: steep enough to read comfortably from a seat, compact enough for small tables.

Low 40°

A lower profile, but it uses more table depth at the same width. It looks less obtrusive.

Arch 55°

A solid arch-topped wedge. It looks more designed but uses extra material for its blank arch area.

Common questions

About QR code table stands

What cafes and restaurants usually ask.

Can I print it with one nozzle?

The stand needs a multi-material workflow, because base and relief share heights. A single pause does not separate the two colors. Flat keychains and plaques can use a single color change.

Does the stand expire or need a subscription?

No. The code is static and stored in the object. It stops working only if the page it links to goes away.

How big should the stand be?

Width ranges from 40 to 140 mm. For a table, 80 to 100 mm is common. A longer link means more modules, so a wider stand helps.

Is it food-safe?

The tool only designs the shape. Material choice and cleaning are yours. Check that your filament suits wiping with a cloth.
