Free WhatsApp QR code

A WhatsApp QR code opens a chat with your number as soon as it is scanned, with an optional message already typed. Enter your number with the country code, download the code, and place it on a sign, flyer, or storefront. It is static and does not expire.

You can also turn it into a printable 3D object: a table stand, a keychain, or a wall plaque.

What do you want to share?

Demo example: replace this link with your own destination. We add HTTPS if it is missing.

Start from a template

Applies shape, text, and style. Keeps the links and credentials you typed. Enter your real destination before sharing.

Reuse a design

Local JSON file (16 KB maximum). Wi-Fi passwords are not saved. Opening a design replaces the current settings; save first if you want to keep them.

Preparing your design…

3MF keeps the two colors per part. Assign the filaments in your slicer; automatic assignment depends on the program. STL does not keep colors.

Customize the design

Screen colors are approximate; assign real filaments in the slicer.

Your links, images, and data (Wi-Fi, contacts, messages, events) are processed in this browser and never sent to a server. The files you download do contain the information you encode, including Wi-Fi passwords.

WhatsApp in three steps

How to make a WhatsApp QR code

You need your number in international format.

1

Enter your number

Type the country code followed by the number, with no plus sign, spaces, or leading zeros. For a US number, 1 and then the ten digits.

2

Add a starting message

Optional, but useful: “Hi, I would like to book a table” saves people from typing and tells you why they wrote.

3

Download and test

Download PNG or SVG. Scan with a phone that has WhatsApp to check that the chat opens with your number and message.

A faster way to reach you

Using a WhatsApp QR code

Good for service and sales

Appointments, quotes, orders, and support questions all start with a chat. Put the code where the question arises.

Your number is visible

The code contains your phone number in plain form. Use a business number if you do not want to share a personal one.

Opens a link, nothing in between

The code points straight to the standard wa.me link. There is no QR Forever redirect, and no expiry date.

On a shop sign

A durable plaque by the door or counter keeps the code in view for years.

Common questions

About WhatsApp QR codes

What businesses and freelancers usually ask.

How do I write the number?

Country code and number, digits only, for example 12125550123. Leave out the plus sign, spaces, dashes, and any leading zero. The tool rejects numbers it cannot use.

Does the person scanning need my number saved?

No. The chat opens with your number even if they have never saved it. They only need WhatsApp installed.

Does it work with WhatsApp Business?

Yes. The code opens a chat with whichever account owns that number, personal or Business.

Is it safe to publish my number on a QR code?

It is as public as writing it on the sign. Anyone who scans can read it. Use a dedicated business number if you want to keep personal and work contacts apart.
