Enter the number
Use the number that should receive the texts, ideally with the country code, such as +1 212 555 0123.
No expiration date
An SMS QR code opens a text message to your number, with the message already typed. Enter a phone number and optional text, download the code, and use it on posters, flyers, or counters. It is static and never expires; sending the text is up to the person scanning.
You can also turn it into a printable 3D object: a table stand, a keychain, or a wall plaque.
Your links, images, and data (Wi-Fi, contacts, messages, events) are processed in this browser and never sent to a server. The files you download do contain the information you encode, including Wi-Fi passwords.
SMS in three steps
You need the number and, if you like, the message.
Use the number that should receive the texts, ideally with the country code, such as +1 212 555 0123.
Optional. A keyword like “JOIN” or “BOOK” makes it easy to process incoming texts. Keep it short.
Download PNG or SVG. Test on both iPhone and Android: some phones handle text-message codes a little differently.
Texting made simple
A pre-filled keyword lets customers text a short code to your number without typing it.
Sending a text can cost the sender money on some plans. Mention it if you target travelers.
The number and message are inside the code. It works as long as the number does.
For a counter or entrance, a printed plaque keeps the code readable for a long time.

What teams ask before adding one to a campaign.
No. The code opens the messaging app with the number and text filled in. The person must press send, which is a good thing for privacy.
Most recent phones open a draft when scanning. Compatibility varies by device and version, so scan with a few phones before printing.
No. It is a static code with no account or redirect. If the number changes, make a new one.
The form limits it to 300 characters, but shorter makes a simpler code that scans more reliably.
